Meditative dance is the synthesis of Eastern and Western techniques on body training and body–mind balancing. Meditative dance technique brings various ancient and contemporary body disciplines and dance techniques together to offer the body flexibility, a perfect posture as well as coordination and concentration. The technique combines air (breath), ground (earth), water (fluidity) and people (contact).

Countdown to INTEGRAL MOVE International Performing Arts and Dance Festival, organized in scope of European-Off Meeting to be held in 2010 European Capital of Culture, Istanbul has started.

The Festival, which will be organized simultaneously with the large-scale meeting and conference of Austria-based European Off Network, prepares to welcome Theater, Dance and Experimental Art groups from Europe, Turkey and neighboring countries. Joint work program covered by the festival has been included in EFA FestLab project in scope of 2009 Year of Creativity and Innovation.
